WHAT IS THE OKLAHOMA WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION?
The Oklahoma Wildlife Management Association(OWMA) was formed in 2007 to help conserve Oklahoma's
wildlife and resources by supporting common sense legislation and conservation that ensures the future of wildlife and
wildlife recreation on private and public land. OWMA is the voice for landowners and managers who love and care for the land;
we make sure their rights are not ignored. We strongly support hunting, hunting rights and our incredible hunting heritage.
The OWMA was organized to serve as an advocate for the benefit of wildlife and for
the rights of wildlife managers, landowners, and hunters in educational, scientific, regulatory, legal, and legislative arenas.
We are absolutely dedicated to educating all persons, especially the youth of Oklahoma, and about the conservation, management
and enhancement of wildlife and wildlife habitat on private and public land to ensure the preservation of our cherished rural
heritage for future generations.
